Living in Jeju for One Month
Living in
Jeju for One Month
Hello~
I am the Global Jeju Culture
Cooperative Association’s Im HanJi. <--- My team member! ^^
I’ll introduce you to our GJC camp
program:
Youth Living in Jeju for One Month! 😊
Lots of people come and visit Jeju to enjoy the beautiful
sights and island life.
But not many people consider staying for a long period of
time.
Why is that?
When you’re working, you have no free time.
If you just relax all the time, you’ll have no money.
The true dilemma of youth.
These days there are many young people working in freelance
or just doing odd-jobs.
They have the time and willingness to go out and
travel, but trying to travel for a long period of time – say, one month – is
too expensive… T_T
So we’re preparing the GJC “Living in Jeju for
One Month” project!
“Come and live in Jeju for only 350,000KRW a
month!”
GJC also offers another benefit!
We have a working holiday program that you can
join,
So you can make money while you stay here.
Want to learn more about the GJC working
holiday program?
Let’s take a look at the basics! 😊
Working Holiday Program
This program is designed to help you make money while you
travel over a long period.
Presently, we have work with local farmers, restaurants, and
other part-time providers.
We have lots of options to choose from each day, so you can
build your own schedule.
What to do on your days off? Travel
and have fun!
We also participate in local
community activities and the Jeju Youth Farmers program.
During your stay, you can participate
in any and all GJC activities, as you desire.
For example, you can join up with
other young people in Jeju.
You can travel together, work
together, or just have fun together.
You can even make your own new
programs and bring more people to Jeju!
We’ve enjoyed lots of media attention
from journalists and TV producers.
And we even hosted our own city
festival – so much fun to have here with GJC!
While staying in Jeju for one month,
you can live freely.
At the same time, you can develop and
shape your own dreams and abilities.
One way to do this is to participate
in GJC’s global activities!
You can study and practice English with our member Holly. <--- That's me! Hahah.
You can also take Korean lessons with our other members.
By sharing our languages and cultures, we can become more
global!
Ah!
Recently there was a tragedy at a guesthouse in Jeju, so you
may be hesitant about coming and staying here, particularly for a long period
of time.
But we have all come from different places and joined
together for three years now!
We are all ambitious young people.
We’ve done many filming projects and interviews.
We love sharing our photos and activities with the public.
Our SNS is very active and transparent.
As such, we are a reliable and trustworthy organization that
is definitely worth a visit!
Our GJC camp
Located in Seogwipo province, along the southwestern coast of
the island.
Hamo Beach offers a stunning view, right in front of our
guesthouse.
The building itself has a lot of woodwork, giving it a
northwestern-American vibe.
Thus far, you’ve been introduced to our “Living in Jeju for
One Month” program.
If you’d like to learn more about our other activities – like
our Jeju Youth Farmers – then check out our Facebook page, groups and our
Instagram accounts!
And feel free to contact us – we always love meeting new,
ambitious people.
Many of us are living together. If you want to experience
life in Jeju and enjoy one month with other fun and active young people, then
come and join us!
If you have any questions, just let me know!
